Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation. Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as required including nights, weekends and holidays. Be a self-starter and work with minimum supervision. Excellent verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a high volume environment. Pari-mutuel industry and cash handling experience desirable but not necessary.
Performs all other duties, as assigned.Įducation and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.Maintain sanitation in accordance with local and state health department regulations.Records amounts received and prepare cashier reports.Prepares menu items to standard recipes.Makes change and issues receipts when requested.Operates cash register and displays cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen, where available.Set up area in accordance with opening procedures.
